    Hi there Yathosho.

I′ve found the problem, but not the solution, after an insight based on a word in your comment number 2.

Here is the devil word and the key to my problem: EMBEDDED.

The theme I′m using with WordPress is called Dance Floor DJ and it is from https://gorillathemes.com.

The theme features a function inside the post edit tool where I have only to add the Youtube/Vimeo video ID and it automatically put it as a feature article, correct the sizes, etc.

Here is the sample post: https://www.topradiosbrasil.com/?p=1432. In this post I have put the video ID inside the tool and also put the Youtube video link before my post.

Doing that, I mean, not using the video ID tool, your plugin works perfectly, the OG:image is generated and everything is OK.

But now I have a problem, if I choose not to use the tool, the size of the video don′t match the post size (as you can see in the sample post) and my post in my main page (index.php) don′t show the video, only the link to the video.

Any ideas how can I fix that without open a ticked with Gorilla Themes?

    thanks, that’s very helpful!

i’m sure you have good reasons to use that theme’s video tool, but i wanted to point out that wordpress is able to embed full-width videos for a while now.

i still don’t understand why my plugin wouldn’t work with that theme’s tool, a look at that page’s source reveals that in both cases a simple iframe embed is used. at least the on-view mode should work. hmmm.

anyway, i’m going to investigate a little further.

Thanks for the help and pleeeease, don′t give up, :D.

I′ll open a thread with the guys in Gorilla Theme to see what they think about that and let you know as soon as I get a response.

    Regards.

Now I′m using a little trick the make everything work. But I′m not happy doing this.

After my post I′ve put in the source html the link to the Youtube video but with the width and height set to 0.

    <iframe width=”0″ height=”0″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/3am0kImrqM0&#8243; frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

i’m gonna mark the topic as resolved as it looks your theme is producing the error, but let’s keep in touch an post any news on the issue. would love to know what causes this. btw, what version of the theme are you using?
