Youtube Video as feature image

  • Hi.
    I wish to create a post category page.
    Each post has a youtube video inside.
    All i need is when i visit the page and see all posts, i don’t wanna click inside the post to see the video. I need to be able to click on the feature image(somehow to become embedd youtube video) of each post and play the video without going inside the post.
    Can anyone suggest a way to accomplish that?

    thank you but this plugin only takes a screenshot from video and places it in the feature image section.
    That’s not what i need.
    I need to have a video in the feature image section so when i am viewing a page of posts carousel, every post could be embedded video and clicked at once from there to play

    You need to do is install and activate the Featured Video Plus plugin. Upon activation, you can visit the post edit screen by creating a new post or editing an existing one. You will see a new ‘Featured Video’ metabox. All you need to do is paste the video URL, and the plugin will automatically fetch and display a preview in the metabox.

    Also go to settings–> Media Section Under Featured Video under Usage section Click on Replace featured image with video on click and autoplay if possible !
