Hello, i wanted to let you know (and report) an issue, i’m using generatepress+elementor in my new project, i tried to insert a YOUTUBE video on my first entry and in the elementor edit page it displayed perfectly well, while it just loaded a black screen instead in the live page.

I investigated for hours, tried a lot of solutions until i found that lazy loading may be the problem, so i disabled the feature for all the entries and IT FINALLY WORKED, the video’s showing now.

My question here is: how can i get it to work without entirely disabling lazy loading for everything on entries?
Hope to get a fix for this, thanks!

    Hello @skylan

    I hope you’re well today!

It’s most likely related to “iframe” behavior in this kind of setup. Could you try disabling Lazy Load for iframes then?

You can do it on “Smush -> Dashboard -> Lazy Load” page by unchecking the “Iframe” option in “media Types” section.

Once that’s done, save settings and clear all cache on site and see if it fixes the issue.

    Best regards,
    Adam
