• Hello All!

I’m having trouble tracking down my homepage via Themes > WP CONTENT > THEMES
    I’m wanting to embed this:
    <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/IFOX6YUJy08″ frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; encrypted-media” allowfullscreen></iframe>
    Above the ‘Brands Section.’

I’m dropping it in via cPanel and File Manager.
    The theme is Savile-Row.

    Thanks,
    -J

    Hi,
You will find your Homepage template in the following folder:

    Savile-row/page-templates/

    Thanks

    Steven,
I’ve checked into that folder and seeing a Custom-Homepage and WooCommerce-Homepage.
Nothing is taking within those fields.

Also, great theme! I wanted purchase pro – if it had this functionality as a column.
But not seeing any documentation on that.

    Thanks,
    -J

    Hi,

Have you set your homepage to be a static page and not a list of latest posts?

Send the URL of your site and I will have a look. Might be easier to feedback once I see your setup.

    Thanks
    Steven

    Steven,

    This is set as a static-page: https://www.making.business
I’m aiming to get the video above the brand’s section.

    Best,
    Joshua

    Hi,

    1. Go to your homepage admin screen and paste the youtube URL into the main content field then save your changes.
    2. Install and activate the free “Homepage Control” plugin.
    3. From your admin dashboard, navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> Homepage Control
    4. Check the ‘Savilerow Homepage Content’ box. to display the contents from your homepage content.

These customizer panels can be dragged into an order that suits.

    Steven!
    I finally got it!
    Thanks for the help.

The only downside is the video isn’t properly scaling on a mobile device.
    Any hints?

    Best,
    Joshua

Glad you got it working. I’d suggest removing all your iframe code and just paste the YouTube url in the content field. That way the video should be responsive to screen size.

Paste only https://www.youtube.com/embed/IFOX6YUJy08 into the content editor.

Your iframe code has width and height specified.
