It’s been close a couple of times, but you’ve finally succeeded in making WordPress for iOS all but useless.

I’ve been using WordPress for iOS and my iPad for years to run a website, posting an average of seven articles a day and moderate comments. I use the app all of the time.

You eliminated all functionality in HTML mode. For instance, I can’t use bold, italics, etc.

Plus, there’s no control for images uploaded. I used to be able to go into HTML mode and edit the size, now I can’t. It reminds me of WordPress circa 2008.

Please roll it back and don’t put betas into general release.

On another note, when you do fix it, could you add a “open in new window” button for links?

Additionally, like happened a few years ago, the WYSIWYG editor is embedding a bunch of artifacts that aren’t needed. You’ll see them once you toggle to HTML mode.

Thanks for the fun feedback but you do know you’re posting in the wrong place, right? I’ve moved your topic to Fixing WordPress.

If you’ve a complaint about the WordPress for IOS then please take it to the dedicated forums for that product.
