    “ReturnURL is missing.”

I spent $FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS to finally get this poorly made and irresponsible plugin configured, and now I get this error after the update??? Gotta be freakin kidding me. You’re gonna get me sued by users smh. Please have some pride in your work or hire competent people!

Make sure you have a checkout page set in the Memberships > Settings > Page Settings page. All pages there should be set.

    Have your lawyers contact us.

    Good luck with the site.

I didn’t say I’m going to sue PMP, I said the users are going to end up suing ME because of PMP. This is a Paid plugin. Meaning we pay for support to fix issues when they arise.

Not only that, this is a CRITICAL plugin. It’s dealing with our ability to make revenue + our site visitor’s real money. If they get screwed over because of an irresponsible plugin or support, it becomes a marketing / PR nightmare. So I’d hope that PMP support would take that responsibility seriously.

If this was a free plugin that didn’t have important ramifications for users (and the businesses that buy the plugin), I wouldn’t care as much. It’s not a “contact form” plugin or something, it’s something that could get your customers in Legal trouble.

You can review our terms of service here: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/terms-of-service/

    And in our license https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/blob/dev/license.txt

This plugin is distributed WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

We try our best avoid issues on upgrade, but at the end of the day PMPro is one pieces of software in a website that you own and manage and we can’t account for everything.

You might want to look into fully hosted platforms. It seems your expectations are off for running self-managed WordPress.

I’m fairly certain that return URL issue is due to not having all pages configured for PMPro. Make sure to do that. I’m going to mark this ticket as resolved. If you have further issues or questions, feel free to open a new one.
