    Hello Tobias,

thank you again for your great plugin, huge fan! I’m sorry to bother you again but I would appreciate your help.

I’m having an issue with your plugin. Since some update – dunno which one, I’m having an issue with z-index it seems. I’ve tried everything but I’m kinda lost now.

If you check https://www.vizslasoldiers.cz/hry/nosghoth/rasy/vampiri/sentinel/ and hover for example over “Echolocation” the <span> is like under the frame is its not visible, like it would be part of the table and it’s changing the table. I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t like that before.

I would appreciate any help with that.

    Thank you very much!!!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble as well as for the late reply. I’ve been on holidays and therefore couldn’t reply earlier.

From what I can see, this is caused by the “Horizontal Scrolling” checkbox. You could try turning that off, maybe.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hello Tobias,

Hope you’ve enjoyed your holidays and I’m very glad you’ve found some time to take a look at my problem.

With this page you were totally right. I’ve found another issue even if the “Horizontal Scrolling” was Off on other tables, the problem remained. So I tried sg… I had a custom code – “scrollY”: 650,”pagingType”: “full_numbers”, “columnDefs”: [ { “orderable”: false, “targets”: [ ] } ] , “columnDefs”: [ { “type”: “alt-string”, “targets”: [ 0, ] } ]

and seems that there was sg wrong. Dunno what yet but I’m gonna play with that later on.

Thank you very much again Tobias!!!

EDIT: scrollY”: XXX, is the issue but when i delete it then the table is wider than I it to be… I have to play with that but… It’s weird cause it didn’t happened before ?? that’s why I had this custom code.

Cant Edit anymore but seems that I’ve found whats the problem…

responsive=scroll ?? without “Horizontal Scrolling” and ofc “scrollY”: XXX

    Hi,

yes, that scrolling is likely the cause here. It basically modifies how content that overlaps is treated. Instead of showing it, it hides it to make it scrollable.

Good to hear that you found this!

    Regards,
    Tobias
