za domains “already taken”

  • Good morning support.

    please note all .za domains are coming back as unavailable.

    would appreciate some support, we like the plugin and are looking to get the premium version soon.

    Ensure that you are using the correct whois servers to query for ZA Domains

    Open your wp-domain-checker\lib\DomainAvailability.php file and look for co.za
    ensure that co.za and all other ZACR domains use the correct whois servers

    “co.za” => array(“coza-whois.registry.net.za”,”Available”),
    “net.za” => array(“net-whois.registry.net.za”,”Available”),
    “org.za” => array(“org-whois.registry.net.za”,”Available”),
    “web.za” => array(“web-whois.registry.net.za”,”Available”),
    “durban” => array(“whois.nic.durban”,”Available”),
    “capetown” => array(“whois.nic.capetown”,”Available”),
    “joburg” => array(“whois.nic.joburg”,”Available”),

    We have tried the above mentioned solution. first we received “WHOIS server not found for that TLD” now the search is not resolving. this is happening for all domains now.

    Any ideas.

    Please try making the same changes to the DomainAvailability.php file and let me know if that resolves the issue.
