We are using this plugin to load our Zenfolio on the page. However, it is showing all 3,000+ photos. Rather than showing just the categories that we have located at: https://highdemanddancecompetition.zenfolio.com/f610543250

Is there a way to just show the categories instead? I have tried a bunch of different shortcode combinations and haven’t been able to get it to load properly yet.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Categories? Or groups? The term “categories” has a very specific connotation for Zenfolio, and only covers this list.

In general, even if you show a “Group Hierarchy” for Zenfolio, Photonic will show you everything nested within that group. So, if you are showing the top level, you will always see the 3200+ sets, regardless of how you have grouped them. You could consider showing a lower level group if you want to reduce how many albums you want to show, e.g. https://highdemanddancecompetition.zenfolio.com/f824453971.

There is no way to do a “drill-down” in Photonic, which can show top-level groups and then show subsequent sets upon clicking.

Understood, thank you. So ultimately the only way to do a “drill-down” approach would be to recreate the Zenfolio groups and sub-groups as pages within WordPress. And on each group page add the shortcode that references it?

If so, in my case that might be possible since its only roughly 20 pages.

    That’s correct.
