Hi! I am already using Polylang, but had problem with the wpml-config.xml. I have a child-theme and didn’t know that in this case the xml should be modified..

So my problem is partly solved. Now, I am unable to localize the Contact form (name, email, etc). I tried to change the code in front-page.php to placeholder=”<?php echo __(‘Your Name’,’zerif-lite’);?>” but unfortunatelly, still doesn’t appear under strings traslations tab!

    Please Help ??

    Thank you in advance!

How did you solve this problem? I cant get wpml-config.xml translated content in child theme. If I switch back to parent theme I get translations back but nothing on child theme.

Hi, I have the same issue, can’t translate placeholders – rest is working fine (uswing Polylang). I have tried also the extension for polylang – Polylang Theme Strings. After adding prper prefix polylang sees it but does not translate…

Anyone managed to get a fix?

    Hello,

For this i suggest you to use .po file to translate theme placeholder with the help of poedit https://poedit.net/.

    Thank You
