Zero sized reply upon upgrade

  • I get a zero sized reply every time I attempt to upgrade 2.8.0 to 2.8.2! It’s happened with previous upgrades I’ve attempted to do automatically. ?? Any idea how to fix this?!

  • are you using 1and1? I had the same prob and then read in here how to fix it:

    If you are a 1and1.com user and are having problems getting the auto upgrade to work (for both the core and plugins), here’s the fix.

    Add the following line to your .htaccess file (in the root directory of your WP install):

    AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

    disable all the plugins and have a check with auto upgrade..if it does not work then you will have to upgrade manually

    I’m not using 1and1, I’ll try disabling everything and report back…

    Ooh man that was sooo easy! Thanks Shane G! I feel kinda dumb now. :/ The upgrade page is still loading but it appears to be upgraded. So thanks!
