• In an Elementor template page, the ziggeoplayer shortcode is no longer working, but other shortcodes are (i.e. the form shortcode in this screenshot)

The ziggeo shortcode *was* working recently, and still works in regular pages and posts.

Oddly, if I rollback to the Ziggeo plugin version 2.12 the shortcode works in the Elementor Theme Builder templates again.

Thank you @jdy98p for letting us know.

We do not have a full support for Elementor plugin, however the codes should work fine as long as the standard WordPress hooks are called. Any part of Elementor that gets executed through the Elementor specific hooks will just not work.

Now that said, even though we do not have full support for it, happy to look into this for you.

The difference between the v2 and v3 is that v3 (3.0 and 3.1) of our plugin have a slightly different approach to the shortcodes, including having the pre-rendered version of the code to be able to show up faster.

My guess would be that this is the cause, however without knowing more I can not be sure.

I am going to try to recreate it on my side and keep you updated what I find.

I’ve recently started using Bricks Builder instead of Elementor on a few sites, and the shortcode *still* doesn’t work for me in 3.1 – in either Bricks OR Gutenberg.

But version 2.12 of the plugin does work.
Is there anything I may have set incorrectly in the plugin?

I’d have expected the default shortcode from the video list icon to at least work in basic Gutenberg, but it doesn’t.
