Zinmag-redux homethumb problem

  • So I’m having a little issue with this theme. I can’t seem to find the author’s support forum related to it so I thought I would see if anyone here has any idea what the images related to the homethumb might not be appearing on the index.

    So anyone using this theme who can give me an idea how they got it to show up

  • I can’t get the thumbnails to display. I am using homethumb and just the name minus the extension. The site is

    I created the categories and a test post for each. They are all using the same thumbnail simply to see if I can make this work.

    My uploads are not using the dates for the images. They are going straight to uploads.

    If my categories are multiple names, like “Local Schools” I am using local-schools as the value in the glide.php page. Is that correct?

    Any thoughts as to what I missed or doing incorrectly?

    Awesome template. I have everything up and working no problem. The pdf help you put in was very helpful. One item hopefully someone can help me one.
    For the feature part (Right above headline) not sure if that is the glide, but what I would like to do is show more than one featured. I have four postings under the feature section, but it only shows the most recent one. What do I change so it shows the last 4 postings under featured.

    I have installed this and am still troubleshooting various bits and pieces and I think I had these problems. What the PDF file and text above does not state is the the image should be inserted into the post and the Thumbnail option selected. If you just insert an image and do all the other steps the image will not be displayed.

    I am still having problems displaying the headlines but will plough on a bit before approaching the the forum for help ??

    This theme is broken in IE 6. Like most sites it looks great in Firefox. Life would be so much better if IE simply vanished…

    I could not get my thumbs to work until I removed the “static page” plugin. Not sure whey I had that activated, mostly likely I copied the plugins from a previous WP install, but it was killing the thumbs.

    But seeing and facing that homethumb problem i was thinking to make it a bit easy and use remote image too. I will try new custom field very soon.

    I got the thumbs working, but there’s one catch… they link to the wrong articles (the 1st pic has no link, the 2nd pic links to 1st article, 3rd pic to 2nd article…). (see livetruly.com)

    It looks like asif2bd has same problem as does ohioverticals.com/blogs/ourspace/ (at least at 12:11am pst on oct 13th).

    Any idea what’s happening and how to fix it?

    Your PDF instructions were right on the money for me.

    One problem I’ve not seen any other posts on.
    My Category ‘drop down’ menu gets overlapped by the ‘glide’ module.

    I’ve tried adding a z-index attribut to a few places, but no success.

    Any ideas?

    Figured it out =D the read more link isn’t closed. you need to add a after the “read more” link. if you want the thumb linked, you have to add it separately:

    for to close the read more link:

    <div class="postmore"> <a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>">Read More</a></div>

    to link the thumbnail:

    jinsona I have been trying to contact you in every way I possibly know how! 1. Why is Web2feel down. But my true question is on your Zinmag Remedy how can I get the minipost to show the most recent post? I also want to do that for the slide? Every time I try doing it my self it comes out completely wrong, so I tried to do it on the control panel but the control panel won’t do anything!? I don’t understand why? Please help I am under a very tight dead line! Thank you.
