Zip file download size problem

  • Hi Ross,
    Firstly thanks for your help last time, everything has been working beautifully… Until now!

    I have just come across another problem.
    This time its a problem with the zip file downloading.

    I use this plugin on my friends photography business site, ad his images are very large.
    When I try to download a large amount of files, it creates the zip file at 1.35GB in size.
    I did the ABSPATH change to put the zip file into the uploads directory, and can see the file size of the zip file created.

    The download works until 1.08GB and then stops.

    It was tried on multiple machines and stops at exactly the same point, so I assume its a host problem.

    Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

    G’day Marinko,

    Likely either a script timeout problem, or a host limitation on the size of a script output. Please ask your host for the error logs to see what error it gets when it hits that (very big!) number.
