zip file is called version 2.9.2 but readme file says 2.3!!!

    OMG the source of my problems might be that i have an old versio nof wordpress! my zip file says 2.9.2 but the readme file says it’s 2.3!!! How do i update to 2.9.2 and not have to reinstall everything like from scratch? i have just spent hours customizing my wordpress template!
