Zip plugin failure

  • I have puchased and downloaded a NextGEN Gallery plugin. The zip installation on WordPress failed with the following message:
    Installing Plugin from uploaded file: jquery.dop.NextGENWallGridGallery.js
    Unpacking the package…

    The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    I attempted to load from query.dop above but that failed too. I also downloaded another plugin which failed with the same message. All plugins have been deactivated but still this problem.
    I have a second concurrent problem with the installed NextGEN Gallery which was loaded without any problems. There is no ‘insert’ icon on the pages or posts and no ability to change the image type or save an album because of the missing template shown in the manual for this. Big problems and I have run out of ideas. Any suggestions please?
