Zip theme installation failure

  • I’ve just tried to uploaded and install a zip theme and have got the message:

    The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme install failed.

    Anyone got any ideas about what I can do?

  • Where did you get this zip theme file? Unzip that file and check if it contains the style.css file in its root.
