Zones still appearing with special shipping class

Hi,
My shipping is set up based on zones with varying rates per zone per item. I set up a custom shipping class called Portrait Shipping which is a flat rate of $9.95 per portrait purchased. When I place a portrait product in the cart, the new Portrait Shipping class appears, but above it I see Zone 1 and $6.95 and the customer has the option to choose either. How do I change the setting so that items assigned to the Portrait Shipping class only show that shipping type in the cart?
