Hi, when i ad a map to my web site and place the cursor on it, the cursor changes to a ‘hand’and on click allows me to enlarge the map.
Now for some reason when i place the cursor on a new map the hand no longer appears and I cannot enlarge the map. However it still works on earlier maps entered.
I am no expert so assistance to a senior citizen would be appreciated.

  • Hi Terry,

It looks like when you click one image thumbnail, it will take you to the actual image itself, so you can see the enlarged image. It shows you a “hand” cursor because it is a hyperlink. Your new images probably did not have hyperlink around it, so it did not show your the “hand” cursor and could not take you to the enlarged image. The solution will be adding hyperlinks to these new image thumbnails.

Hi Chienyi, thank you so much for your reply. And sorry for being so dumb but how do I add a hyperlink?

    Hi Terry,
Here is what you can do:
    – Use the Visual Editor
    – Click the image
    – Click the “Chain” like icon in the tool bar. It shows “Insert/edit link” when you move the mouse over.
    – Enter the link

You can find the link to that image by switching to the Text Editor or in the Media.

Good morning and thank you. However I found that on the image edit page there is a drop down box which enables me to link to the media image. So problem resolved. Again thank you.
