    Hello,

I seem to have a problem maintaining the map load zoom. I set the zoom to be 15 but when viewed on the front end it zooms right in instead of staying at 15. Also when I go back in to edit the map the map shows the whole globe and not the 15 zoom I set it at.

In the admin “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=hmapspro” it seems to cause a Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL with the load-scrips.php in wp-admin

There is no error being generated on the front end.

By the way I love the ui for this looking forward to your slider.

    Regards
    Anthony

    Hi Anthony

When you are in the settings tab for your map, there is an option called Auto Fit that is usually on by default. When you switch it off, it should give you the option to set the default map center and zoom for yourself.

Let us know if this solves the issue for you.

With regards to the syntax error you picked up, I’ll forward it to our devs and get them to take a look at it – thanks for letting us know ??

    Regards

    Hello Jaydon,

Thank you for the quick response. It now works a treat, sorry I didn’t realise I think I misinterpreted the label on the Auto Fit but it makes sense now.

Do you know when your slider is due to be released? I looking forward in seeing your approach in this branch of plugins.

Tell the team to keep up the good work they are doing an excellent job.

    Regards
    Anthony

    Hi Anthony

I think I’ll ask the guys to give that label a relook, because I can see how it might be a little confusing ??

I can’t give you a definite date on our slider just yet – we’re basically completely rebuilding our original slider from the ground up to make use of the same framework we have in place with Maps and our premium Menu plugin.

We will most definitely shoot out an e-mail when it launches, so if you would like to you can sign up to our newsletter on the Hero Plugins website (the form is at the bottom of the home page), so you can hear about it as soon as it happens.

I’ll pass your compliments along to the rest of the team – they always appreciate hearing back from happy users ??

    Regards
    Jaydon
