5.5.5 imports only 32 of 82 items, no error message

    Thanks a lot for Zotpress. It’s a great plugin! However, I have just installed Zotpress on a new site on which I am working and am running into some problems. I will open multiple issues for each of them.

    I have just tried to import the library of our research group, but Zotpress only imports 32 out of 82 items. There is no error message, everything appears to be fine – save for the fact that 50 items are missing.

    I have disabled all other plugins and reverted to the WordPress twentythirteen theme and can still reproduce that behaviour. I am also using the latest version of your plugin (5.5.5 at the time of this writing) and of WordPress (4.2.2 at the time of this writing).

    I just heard back from the author of “External Links.” If I disable an option of that plugin, everything works fine; the nature of that option suggests to me, not the author of “External Links” who hasn’t replied to my answer yet, that the problem is with “External Links,” not Zotpress.

    Oops, wrong bug report. I meant to post this in another bug report, the one about garbled bibliographies; this bug is still there and can be reproduced without any other plugin being active. I wondered whether it could be about the items in our collection. I will try to check that when I find the time.
