• I created a preprint in Zotero and am using Zotpress 7.3.1.2 to attempt to render it. If I choose a style that includes the preprint number “Archive ID” it doesn’t render the number correctly. (Note “preprint” in Zotero maps to “article” in CSL and “Archive ID” maps to CSL “number”).

For example when I use the “Style Preview” in Zotero for the “apa” style (“American Psychological Association 7th edition”) it renders like this:

Maeder, A., & Gueorguiev, V. (2022). Local Dynamical Effects of Scale Invariance: The Lunar Recession (Preprint arXiv:2204.13560). arXiv. https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2204.13560

but in Zotpress it looks like this:

Maeder, A., & Gueorguiev, V. (2022). Local Dynamical Effects of Scale Invariance: the Lunar Recession [Preprint]. arXiv. https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2204.13560

Note the missing “arXiv:2204.13560”. It seems that using the “report” Zotero entry type it does render a similar field “Report Number” correctly.

This is the preprint mapping from Zotero -> CSL: https://aurimasv.github.io/z2csl/typeMap.xml#map-preprint
