Hello,
I want the date on the calendar widget (side bar homepage) to go directly to the event.
To get that i checked ‘Open calendar links to event details URL’ at the output settings page.
And a set the ‘Mini calendar widget date links to:’ ‘daily view page (above)’.
When i then click the date nothing happens, BUT when i right click the date and open in it in a new window it works perfectly.

What i am doing wrong.

Added a text widget with the shortcode generator generated shortcode for a mini calendar with the specific month.

And Could i always go back a version by installing the ‘old’ version again?

Your solution did no do the trick.
I know that i worked after upgrading WordPress to 3.4.2

After upgrading the plugin it does not work (first the problem appeared on my local server. An earlier version of my site was ‘live’ and so i could do the upgrading again).

Hi Stephen,

One more question about following setting: ‘Group occurrences: If selected only one occurrence of an event will be displayed on event lists and archives (this can be over-ridden by shortcode attributes and widget options).’

I have the same events for the same days of the week uptil, lets say, december. So i made them for each day re-occuring weekly.
But i do get a whole list until December. So i thought when i check the ‘re-occurence’ function it will only show five events (for each day of the week).

Any thoughts on why this is not working?

Expired events: Ah, okay i will go and work with this and let you know.
Occurance: That explains it. I have only groups. And they have not ended yet. Hence they are still all visible. Great.

Well, i have ‘delte expired events’ and ‘group occurances’ checked and nothing is thrashed after expiration. And for group events, all repetitive (say same event for every monday) events are shown.
This laast one is not a big problem, because maybe it is better that every event is shown.

Great! That did the trick for the links.
Two other issues stays.
The trashing of the events and the showing of one event for a group of re-occuring events. Is it possible that it has something to do with making it a re-occuring event?
I don’t mind showing the re-occuring events if they are trashed when the date of the event has passed.

Any thoughts?
