In reply to: http error on file uploadOk this is just weird and very annoying!
I deleted the install and started again, hoping it was some sort of permissions error which would be fixed by wiping clean.
Now, I managed to set up the site and got several images to upload. A few failed, but were fine second time around. Then the bug kicked in fully, and I can no longer upload anything from my laptop browser without encountering the error.
I’ve also set up the Android app. This hangs on media upload and needs to be killed.
But still, doing it from Chrome on Android, and it works without a hitch.
Does anyone have any ideas?

In reply to: [WP Photo Sphere] Plugin Crashes Browser?Aha, that’s got it thanks!
I hadn’t specified anything in the setting and it had defaulted to zero. Thanks!
Great plugin, I’ve been waiting for this since Photosphere appeared!

In reply to: [WP Photo Sphere] Plugin Crashes Browser?Sorry, the post is back now. I’d set it as draft by mistake.

In reply to: [WP Photo Sphere] Plugin Crashes Browser?Hi
It doesn’t seem to be crashing my browser any more (I cleared out cache locally and that sorted it) but it also still doesn’t display the image. Am I using the code right? Is that all I need to put in the post?
I briefly get the circle of dots indicating something is loading, then nothing.
Not using any image plugins apart from one which automatically assigns Feature Images.
This is the latest attempt: https://photostream.electro-web.co.uk/?p=1731

In reply to: [WP Photo Sphere] Plugin Crashes Browser?Hi
Any part of my site now appears to crash the browser – I assume this is because the code is running regardless of whether there’s a photosphere on the page.
Help! Have had to uninstall for now…

In reply to: Network sits can't find media after site restoreAny idea where the path is set?
It’s clearly uploading properly, it’s just mapping the blogs.dir/2 folders to the right place that’s gone weird, I guess?

In reply to: Network sits can't find media after site restoreAnyone? Sorry for the bump but I’m sure this must be a simple pointer or setting somewhere that I just can’t find.
Weirdly, I tried uploading a new file and WordPress instantly couldn’t find it. It uploaded to the correct folder along with all the other media, so what can’t the media library and pages actually see the files?

In reply to: “Quick Edit” and edits to Published Date not workingThanks, that fixed the upgrade problem but not the issue with the quick edit.
Then another thought hit me… it was Adblock Plus on Firefox that was causing the problem!
There must have been either a small change in WordPress or an update to Adblock Plus that caused an issue. I’ve disabled it for my web domain and all is dandy…

In reply to: “Quick Edit” and edits to Published Date not workingOK, it’s not the theme either.
I can’t get the auto-upgrade to work. It didn’t work initially, I had to do it manually. It just hangs at the ‘downloading’ stage…

In reply to: “Quick Edit” and edits to Published Date not workingI’ve checked plugins and reset the plugins folder, with no change.
I’ll try the theme and a new upgrade….
