Hey @adamdunnage, how are you?
- I sent the site health information with the form you provided.
- And here’s the video I created for you:
https://jmp.sh/s/VXU9ATs6NH1VfirdlsxP
As you see in the Video, i get inside my website with INCOGNITO MODE and GA shows 2 pageviews on the Realtime page.
I suspect the issue is with the WP Consent API plugin.
I also sent them a message:

I don’t think the Google Analytics support team can help here. The issue seems to be technical, involving the Google Site Kit plugin and the WP Consent API plugin, either a conflict between the two or with one of them individually.- This reply was modified 2 months ago by Nadav Levi.

In reply to: [WP Consent API] plugin works with JS Minify?Yes, what are the name / url of the scripts?
By the way, I’m experiencing problems with your plugin and Google Analytics. When your plugin is active and connected to Google Site Kit (the official plugin from Google Inc.), it shows two page views instead of one (resulting in inaccurate data).
I’m still checking with Google, but I’m 90% sure it’s caused by your plugin:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/consent-mode-google-site-kit-plugin-problems/#post-18024224Could you please provide the scripts and let me know what needs to be excluded from the cache? Also, please take a look at the link I sent.
I’d really appreciate your help.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Connect Contact form 7 to WP Consent API (GCM)Hello? someone?
Yes, I connected this with your new update:
There are still some things that need to be improved, but generally, it works fine.
Thank you, @cookieyesteam, for your help, and I also want to thank Claire from the email support.
I still have one issue regarding USA regulations that I’d like to ask about.
GDPR is much stronger than California regulations.
I need to know if this GCM currently complies with USA regulations as well (I believe it does).
However, I would appreciate it if you could look at:
and let me know if it’s okay for California clients as well.
Regards,
NadavYou right, i check it right now from Spain and its shows ¨ES¨.
Its working fine.
I check with Firefox. its easier to debug this isiue.
By the way, cookiesyes plugin just release the support to WP API CONTEST.
Its not showing in the link you sent me.
This from yesterday and i talk with them over the email.

Hello @adamdunnage .
So, CookieYes support chack the website, and they say its working.
the only isiue is shows Region “GB” and my website is from the United State:
I didnt see any option to set up region in the google site kit plugin… so i very confuse right now.
@adamdunnage thank you, you very kind.
By the way CookiesYes is very famous (Heineken, Toyota, Renault etc…)
This plugin is from the majors ones.
Thanks again, you have very good service.
Regards,
Nadav.
Hey, thanks for your response.
I will start with these two plugins:
- Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent
- Cookie banner plugin for WordPress – Cookiebot CMP by Usercentrics
They are not the only major plugins for cookie banners.
I personally use CookieYes. CookieYes connects to the WP API in Consent mode as well.
I did what you suggested with Tag Assistance and Incognito mode, and I see I have both “deny” and “accept” options when I click my cookie banner.
But there still needs to be an easier way to check this through your plugin. It would be much easier and more comfortable for your clients.
I install it, but what i actully need to see if its working?
OK, sounds cool, but I still don’t understand something.
Will I be able to disconnect from the CookiesYes Online App and host the banner locally on my WordPress site (no CDN banner)? Also, can I activate consent mode in Google Site Kit and still be GDPR + GCM compliant?
I need to understand if this is actually possible because the CDN banner is hurting my website’s speed and effecting the ranking.

In reply to: Site Health: Autoloaded options could affect performanceHey guys, thanks for your responses.
@macmanx, I read what you sent. It explains how to raise the threshold, but I prefer not to change the default WordPress configuration. From what I understand, the default threshold is 1MB, and the recommendation is to keep it under 800KB:
Currently, my Autoload size is only 623KB, so it shouldn’t be causing any issues.
By the way, I’ve removed plugins and reduced the autoload size even further below 623KB, yet it still shows a critical warning. I’m pretty sure this is a bug.
And from the link you sent, I’m now 100% sure it’s because of the new update to version 6.6.1.
Even experienced developers prefer not to change default configurations like that. I’m pretty sure the people who build WordPress know their product much better than I do, and changing something like that could only cause damage.
Anyway, as I mentioned, my Autoload size is 623KB (I’ll send a screenshot). It shouldn’t be triggering any warnings and should keep my site health clean.
I appreciate your responses and time. I hope we can make WordPress better for everyone, not just for me ??
By the way, i create a bug ticket as well:
