In reply to: [Cyclone Slider] Stop Youtube related videosHi Chad,
I could not find a solution for Cyclone Slider 2. Also, Cyclone Slider 2 gave me problems with IE – it did not work. So, I purchased Meta Slider Pro from https://www.metaslider.com. MSP worked nicely for me. MSP requires that you first instal the free version via WordPress plugins, and then instal MSP on top.
Sad thing is that Cyclone Slider 2’s developers should be able to give a fix. I like Cyclone Slider 2, but the related videos issue makes it non-viable for me.
OK, continuing the above line of thought:
Is there a way to create a membership level so that it does not appear on the Membership level’s list, but can be used by Admin to add members to it manually?
The reason for this, is that my Director level members have to sign up for the Directors level where they have to write a test – and pass, before being given access to the rest of the director’s level content. If they pass the test, I will give them access to the rest of the director’s level. I have software for the test, so that is not the issue. what I will need to do is add:
1. Director Level (Appears on the Members Level list page)
2. Director-passed Level (Does not appear on the list page, but access given manually by admin when they pass their test.)I know that I have given you a lot to chew on, but I know that you are working on these or similar issues, and this may help to formulate the outcome.
Thank you for your help.
Thank you,
I chewing on your suggestion about hybrid levels. That could work, except that they would appear on the Member Levels page, which would probably be confusing to members.
Also, as a thought about the subject; In my case I am building a membership site with membership levels for members, specialists, directors, etc. Members are likely to move between levels on a regular basis. For example a member may choose to be a member this month, a specialist author next, and a Super Duper, for the next, and then revert back to just a member. In other words the solution may be to make membership payments like a shopping cart with basic memberships, to which add-on subscriptions can be added without changes to the underlying membership.
So in the above scenario, the membership would be ‘Member’ with an option to add to cart a subscription (a membership level) for ‘Specialist Author,’ or ‘Super Duper,’ etc.
Hope that helps in some way.
Otherwise, great product.
Thank you.
I’m not sure what I did wrong. Thought I had tried your solution, but obviously missed something. Now it works.
I’d like to set two membership levels to ‘Contributor.’ The code above works for converting one level, but I can’t seem to get it to work for two.
Appreciate the help.

In reply to: [IM8 Box Hide] [Plugin: IM8 Box Hide] Auto-hides custom fieldsI suspect this goes deeper than the plugins. So will look at a fresh WP instal and maybe, another host. Will post findings here, when I get to it.

In reply to: [IM8 Box Hide] [Plugin: IM8 Box Hide] Auto-hides custom fieldsHi,
Appreciate the help. My specs are:
1. Latest version of WordPress
2. Themes: Changing themes makes no difference.
3. Plugins:
– IM8 Box Hide
– FieldPig
– Custom Permalinks
– Editor Tab
– More Fields
– IM8 Box Hide
– Maintenance Mode
– Restrict Categories
– User Switching
– WP-DBManager
– TinyMCE TemplatesI’ve disabled all plugins except IM8 Box Hide, same result. I’ve uninstalled IM8 Box Hide and reinstalled – same problem remains.
I’ve deleted old plugin tables from the database – same problem remains.
I’ll put screen shots at https://www.linkm9.com/screen1.html and screen2.html
Thank you for helping.
