If you are using perfmatters disable the remove jquery migrate option and it should fix the issue for you.

In reply to: [Pods Beaver Themer Add-On] No support for map?Hi Bernhard,
Thank you for the fast reply.
I don’t need pods to have map functionality, beaver builder already has that. All I need is the little + symbol next to the beaver map module to feed a simple text address from the pod to the beaver builder map module.
Exactly the same data is needed for the beaver map module as is needed for a title module I have there, I just have no way to feed it through.
See this screencast to see clearly what I am talking about.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] What was WordPress will be WorsePressIn the interest of being fair, I have just installed again on a test site and went to do a simple post looking at it as far as I could as one of my clients.
I added the title – childs play
Added a paragraph of text – childs play
Added a picture not too hard
Then I think like a client would ooh I would like that photograph surrounded by text EASY in current editor, this
- developer
could not work that out, no way a client could. A bunch of support tickets to me caused by you!
I then think ok how about we just put it in two columns. I insert two columns and think ok this is blocks I will just drag the text block into one side and the picture block into the other. No not possible. THAT is what blocks SHOULD be able to do. If not what is the point? Just leave the format as title and paragraph.
I SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO ACHIEVE HERE?????
It is more complicated and not even as flexible as the current editor. AGAIN blocks have been done already and much better, at least 3 years late to that party.
You are NOT listening to your users (You think you are but you are not) You are forcing this on people, you will cost them money, you will cost people like me clients that we had to work REALLY HARD to acquire and you will send plugin and theme developers to other CMS systems.
I have tried to find something to like, but this is simply very poor, un-needed and after wasting more hours than i should have reading and watching videos I still do not understand what you are trying to achieve???
Here is a WISE suggestion go find a cross-section and random group of WordPress USERS, not developers, not programmers, not theme builders BASIC USERS! Sit them down ask them to build a page or post with their current version of WordPress including a few images. Then ask them to do it with GB and get feedback from them.
While WP may have a year left in it as a viable CMS I for sure am looking at other platforms now. YOU ARE NOT LISTENING!!!! I can NOT trust the future of my client’s sites to a company that is ignoring its users.
POLL ALL USERS I DARE YOU!!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] What was WordPress will be WorsePressTammie this is going to be forced on people before you tell me that the classic editor is an option it will not always be that way that has been said a few times.
I have a small web design and hosting company, we build websites mostly for people who do not have a clue where to start. Beaver builder is our editor of choice it does WAY more already than I believe GB will achieve and it is not too complex for end users.
We build websites for our clients dealing with theming, layout, speeds, responsiveness and basic SEO. We host them and we keep them updated.
I do not believe you or your team understand how non-technical the average WordPress user is. Our clients are buiders, entertainers, dentists etc etc etc VERY FEW of them are tech savvy. Many of them are insanely intelligent people but they are not webmasters or web designers. They are simply not interested in that, they just want a website that works that they can make simple edits to.
95% of our clients fall into one of these categories.
CATEGORY 1
Clients that create simple pages and posts by logging in and using the classic editor they add a title and their content. This gets framed by the custom theme we built them.CATEGORY 2
Clients that are braver log in create a post or a page with a title, then hit “launch beaver builder” that presents them with a one-click template to load Build a new page or build a new blog post. They then just click and get the blog or page layout we built for their site. They start clicking and edit the BLOCKS that we have built for them. This functionality ALREADY EXISTS!!!! GB brings nothing new and they are a lot less confusing than your blocks in GB.CATEGORY 3
The clients that are technophobes and send us the edits they want by support ticket and we edit the site for them. The beauty of the current setup it that it covers ALL these groups. Frankly GB requires much more work to create a simple post or page. Click here, adjust here drag here drop here I build websites all day and I found it clumsy and unintuitive.
Then we will have the challenge of them not wanting to pay for changes or not wanting to learn how to use a new editor people ARE BUSY. Read the reviews you are getting!!!
Matt keeps on saying how into open source he is, THAT is what brought WordPress to where it is today the community. I do not think you realise how many peoples livelihoods this is going to mess with and how much money you are going to cost businesses.
I know it is hard to believe from this post but I am ALL FOR improvements and new technologies web design has become much easier since sitting here editing HTML pages by hand. On this occasion, though you are FORCING what is mostly an unwanted change on Developers, programmers, MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL end users and the very community that LOVE and promotes WordPress. The flexibility vanishes once things like this are forced onto people.
Just think about this one question
If a community of volunteers (whether they are making money or not they choose to use WordPress) do not want something and you force it on them what do you suspect they will do?
Ok let’s make it two.
I am a developer of a plugin or theme and my market is split between people who hate GB and those who love it, what do I do? Develop two versions of everything. Develop for GB and lose the part of my market who don’t want it or vice versa? Perhaps I take my skills to another CMS?
I KNOW if this is forced through it will cost me clients there will be those that will go and choose blooming Wix or Shopify. I will lose others because my small team of two cannot update all the sites fast enough.
You say yourself this is eventually going to lead to full page building functionality. That makes me doubt your motives as a company. Automatic is not open source now is it?
My gutt tells me this is a BIG mistake for you guys just look at the feedback from users, they will end up voting with their feet. This will bring down income for developers and hosts like me and programmers and we too will vote with our feet to protect our incomes.
The BIGGEST mistake any company can make and some GIANTS have been brought down this way, is to ignore their end users.
The people giving the reviews right now are not developers, or webmasters or programmers they are end users who love what they have already and have support from people like me to keep it working.
To be frank the following also really disturbs me
As for your initial question, Gutenberg is made for WordPress 5.0, that has always been the plan and reviews do not affect this decision.
I think you guys seriously need to consider the growing number of bad reviews and I bet there are MILLIONS that have not even tried it yet.
This project is totally confusing to me it really is not wanted or needed.

In reply to: Sites Being Flagged As Containing MalwareThere is nothing unfounded or false in my statement.
Our client was blacklisted for “potential” malware by Google, sophos and quttera. The exact string of code suspected of being suspicious was stated by quttera was the code above. Adam kindly pointed us in the direction of your plugin (Thanks Adam, probably saved us a few hours there) as the possible producer of that code.
We removed your plugin from the client’s site and rescanned using quttera to see if this was the case, the site when re-scanned showed clean. We applied for a re-assessment at Google they removed the block from the website agreeing it was clean.
We then checked other sites using your plugin at quttera they too were showing “Potential” infections. Again we removed the plugin rescanned and they showed clean.
I did not accuse your plugin of containing malware. In earlier posts I stated I had done many scans that showed up clean, I also stated in one post that I realise this may be a false positive.
The facts remain my client site is still listed by Sophos which we now have to try and get de-listed, it was listed by Google which we spent time researching and getting de listed. They were listed because of this block of code in your plugin so you may want to address that OR talk to https://quttera.com and https://www.sophos.com about the false positive.
At NO point have I accused your plugin of containing malware. Please read again.

In reply to: Sites Being Flagged As Containing MalwareConfirmed we tested another site using this plugin it showed as having malware, we removed the plugin and it showed as clean.
I realise this may be a false positive but in this case it affected a site in Google so this needs looking at.

In reply to: Sites Being Flagged As Containing MalwareSorry to tell you it was indeed your plugin WP-SpamShield.
We removed your plugin and the site is now showing clean.

We submitted to Google for a re-scan and they also say the site is now clean.

In reply to: [VS Event List] Pagination Edit for next releaseNope that is VERY normal behaviour.
Here is a different calendar it does not have text links but little arrows at the top
https://tanksherman.com/gig-diary/
Right arrow moves forward one month
Left arrow back one month

Google calendar top left same deal.
I can see where this gets confusing though.

In reply to: version 4.4 update: FATAL ERROR!I can confirm we have these running smoothly now. Issues seem to have been related to php version.
Due to a few clients running older versions of other scripts on the server we had delayed updating. I had techs install cloud linux to our server so that php version could be selected by user.
If we upgrade the wordpress users to latest version of php the upgrades run very smoothly. Just thought I would share.
The php version 5.4 was the release causing WP update to have issues.
