I have tried this and have the URL of the calendar. But when I try to import it I get an error: Failure when receiving data from the peer. What do I do now? Thank you.
Thanks Pashmina, I didn’t know that. I’ll try it out, thanks.
Sorry Benjamin, could, you give me a clue where I can find these files, because I can’t see them anywhere. Thank you.
Thanks Benjamin, but this is not what we want, and I have seen that page already.
The point is that if we export an ics file and import it into the newly created site that’s fine. But as soon as the old site goes, the ics feed will go. What we want to do is move the entire calendar onto a newly updated site on a different URL.
So I will follow your advice to move the database tables. Thank you, I’ll report back!
I too have the same problem. ICS is not the solution as Knopenman says. It is possible to save the data as an xml file, but how do you then import it into the new site?
Support here is very slow, does anyone know how to do this? Thank you.
Not an option, they have already refused to do that.
I thought that, but deactivating A in 1 makes it work again.
The error message is:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 28311552) (tried to allocate 17025 bytes) in /home/t/e/terrytwo/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1038
One thing Yani. Since you installed 1.7 premium, I now find I am unable to upload any photos. If I deactivate All In 1, I can. It’s obviously a memory problem but why would the plug in effect uploading images?
Thank you Yani. I now have the premium version of this plug in running 1.7, and it works fine.
I didn’t know you had to remove the old version first, and not just overwrite it, that is where the problem was. Perhaps you could make that clearer, normally I think most people would just overwrite. Thanks.
I have just, very foolishly, installed version 1.7, in the hope that the serious errors with this poor quality widget had been fixed. They haven’t and it has AGAIN taken my entire site down. The error message I now get is:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Ai1ec_Agenda_Widget in /home/t/e/terrytwo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/view/admin/class-ai1ec-agenda-widget.php on line 212
The real fatal error was mine in thinking this version might work, it doesn’t. Anyone got a better one. I need to get rid of this rubbish widget and replace it soon.
I should add I need one that has a good ‘List View’, not just a monthly display.
Yes there will sometime be conflicts with other plugins. But in this case the Calendar was working fine. Only when I updated the calendar plugin did it then take down my entire site. They have changed it so radically that it just does not work. It was clearly not tested properly and there seem to be no fix or even an acknowledgement that they have screwed it up completely.
The ONLY option now is another plug in, any suggestions??
Okay sauril understood
Of course I don’t still have the error, it took my entire site down leaving only an error message, no WP dashboard, no site. I had to fix that, and quickly. I had to ftp to the server and manually remove the plugin and, annoyingly, all the stuff that now appears outside of the plug in directory. That’s not a good thing at all. I then had to find an older version and upload that. I am now using that older version and will not update again if this is what happens.
I am now looking for a replacement plugin, as this is now so broken it is of no use to me.
Read the first post. The issue is it don’t work, it took my entire site down. It’s seriously broken.

In reply to: Twenty Eleven: Remove Header Imagedtownend, don’t upload your header images into media. Go to dashboard>Appearances>Header and upload them there. They will then work. Better also to crop your images to 1000 x 288 before uploading so you get exactly what you want.
