In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-One] Breakpoint for mobile menuThank you — doesn’t work for me but it may be a starting point. What I’d like is to be able to switch to a hamburger at about max-width 500px (or whatever is set for that particular site), and have a dropdown. This switches me to a hamburger at all widths, but clicking on the menu icon brings up the horizontal navigation; I’ll try playing with it to see what I can modify.

In reply to: [Advanced iFrame] Misdirected request on mobileHi Michael, thank you for your reply. I’ve reached out to the developer of the website that’s being displayed in the iframe and hopefully they will get the problem fixed.

In reply to: [AsynCRONous bbPress Subscriptions] Change “reply to” email addressHi Markus, don’t know if I should add to this one or start a new topic. The “new topic” notifications still have a reply-to of my administrative email address. Do I need to add a line to the “new topic” info? Here’s what I have in my functions file — thanks again.
add_filter( 'bbp_forum_subscription_email_subject', function( $subject, $forum_id, $topic_id ) { $blog_name = get_bloginfo( 'name' ); $topic_author_display_name = bbp_get_topic_author_display_name( $topic_id ); $topic_title = wp_specialchars_decode( strip_tags( bbp_get_topic_title( $topic_id ) ), ENT_QUOTES ); return "[$blog_name] New topic: $topic_title by $topic_author_display_name"; }, 10, 3); add_filter( 'bbp_subscription_email_from', '[email protected]', 10, 1 );

In reply to: [AsynCRONous bbPress Subscriptions] Change “reply to” email addressThank you! And thanks so much for being available on a Sunday!!
Thanks so much for your reply. I think I’ll try installing a notifications plugin first, and then if that does not work, go through the troubleshooting. The health check plugin looks like it may have caused some issues for some users, so I’m a little nervous trying it on what is an “antique” WordPress site at this point. I appreciate your advice!
Hi and thank you for your quick reply. I can post new topics to the forum without any problem, but forum subscribers are not receiving new topic notifications via email. We use SendGrid, but as far as I can tell these notifications never reach SendGrid, as they’re not logged in Activity or Blocks or Spam. It’s a long shot, but I thought I’d check to see if there’s any place in WordFence I could check. The only blocks I see are for bad actors in other countries. Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to: [MapPress Maps for WordPress] This page can’t load Google Maps correctlyHi Chris, Thank you for the speedy answer! I used the error console in Firefox and discovered the client needs to update their billing account. Problem solved for us, thanks again!

In reply to: [MapPress Maps for WordPress] This page can’t load Google Maps correctlySame problem — I just updated MapPress (free version) and I’m getting the same message. We have the API as well.
Hi Dave,
THANK YOU so much, I really appreciate your answer. I checked all sorts of settings in SendGrid but that one never occurred to me. I still haven’t heard back from SendGrid — thanks for your speedy solution!

In reply to: “PHP Update Required” warning does not go awayThanks again for your help — I just wanted to update this: we finally tracked the problem down to htaccess files within the WordPress directories, not sure how they got the PHP direction, they may have been inserted by an early version of the security program we’re running. Anyway, we cleared out those lines and are now running PHP 7.3. Thank you!

In reply to: “PHP Update Required” warning does not go awayThank you James — I will check on Monday when I am back, but I think those were not yet available on HostGator. I appreciate your quick response!

In reply to: “PHP Update Required” warning does not go awayYes, I checked that, and it doesn’t reference a PHP version. Could it be a php.ini file? I would need to contact HostGator about that. Thanks!
Same issue with update and WordPress 5.0.3 — I reinstalled an older version of Contact Form 7, still using Captcha V2, and it works fine. I’ll hold off on updating any other sites….
