I should add that it’s OK with Nivo Lightbox (although not pretty) — but prettyPhoto and FancyBox show up at the bottom of the page.

I am having the same problem — WordPress 4.6.1 and Responsive Lightbox 1.6.9 — I’ve been using this plugin for years with no problem, but having a hard time troubleshooting this. Did you come up with a solution? Thank you!

Hi, thanks, I’m not sure I understand, sorry. I haven’t tried pasting in any php code; I did add the event-editor.php file as a template under my theme, so I could remove the “upload image” link for event submissions. I’m able to make changes to that, but couldn’t figure out how to add the when-with-recurring.php template file to my theme to make changes. Does that make sense? (still doesn’t solve the success-message-upon-submittal problem, though). Thanks for looking at this!

Thank you — Yes, I figured out what happened with the recurring event piece, I was trying to correct some text errors in the event submittal form via CSS and accidentally wiped out the recurrence piece. For example text reads:
“Recurrence spans from From ___ to To ___”

I tried a different way of correcting this by putting the when-with-recurring.php template file into my theme under Plugins > Events Manager > Forms > Event but was not able to get this to work, is this the wrong location to put this template file?

Using the 2016 theme I still was not able to get a message upon submittal that my form had been successfully submitted. Is there a way, in the event-editor.php file, to simply redirect to a thank-you page?

Addendum: when I revert to the default CSS, the problem still occurs– but it is only happening in Google Chrome. I tried disabling all other plugins on the site (local installation) but the problem continues. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did a little more digging in the Contact Form 7 Date Field information —
if anyone else has the same question, the answer is this:

step:(num) step:3 step attribute value of the input element. When minimum date is 2013-01-01 and step is 3, acceptable inputs are 2013-01-01, 2013-01-04, 2013-01-07, …

I will still need to use a separate field for Wednesday and for Thursday, but this will work for now. I just use step:7 and start with the appropriate date.

Ack — my apologies, mra13! You were totally right. the_field was echoing out the field contents, I had to switch to get_field to register the variable. Now all is right as rain. Thank you so much — the site will only be selling two products, via PayPal, so your lightweight simple plugin seems ideal. Thank you!

Hi mra13, thanks for your reply. Yes, I checked that first — the variables do have a value. So I think I have done something wrong inserting them into the shortcode, but haven’t been able to figure out what. Thanks again!

OK, I have disabled this through my functions file, thank you. Please remove this functionality (or make it easily disabled) from future upgrades; the emoji doesn’t fit the style I’ve created for my theme; initially I thought I’d downloaded a virus somewhere when my left- and right-pointing triangles turned into image links. Thank you apocalypseboy for posting a fix!

Hmmm, this is a puzzle! I have screenshots if you’d like me to send them, of the filmstrip demo using Windows 8.1 and IE 11. We have gotten the same results on two other computers on our network, one using Win 8.1 and IE 11 and another using Vista and IE 9. I also called two other developers and they saw the same thing using Win 8.1 and IE 11 on their networks. Your other sliders seem to work fine. We don’t use any special settings for IE on our computers. The computers we tested this on were two HP laptops, one Toshiba laptop, one Lenovo laptop, and one HP deskside, and all but the deskside computer are running Win 8.1 and IE 11. It only displays the film strip but never the main image. — Good to know about the autoplay, if we can get this up and running in IE we’ll work with the shortcode. Thank you for your time on this.

Thank you for your reply. I checked out your filmstrip demo in IE 11, Windows 8, and have the same problem — the main image is not visible, and the demo cycles through the filmstrip automatically even though I set autoplay to “no”. On Chrome your demo mostly works fine, although it is still stuck on autoplay.

Any luck with a solution? We’d really like to use the filmstrip feature, but no luck — using IE11 with Windows 8. Works well in Chrome. Site is in local development so I can’t post a link; basically I get a filmstrip in IE, but no main/enlarged image accompanying it. Thank you!
