In reply to: [NSFW] [Astra] What menu is this? Those instructions were way above my head but I managed to figure them out and it is now working tyvm. So if a new update to the Astra theme comes out will it update the child theme automatically? I’m not sure how that works. Will I get the main theme updated and have to recreate the child theme again and transfer the code over each update? I’ve never used a child theme before.

In reply to: [NSFW] [Astra] What menu is this?I added it like you directed. There is some other code I have there above it. After adding it though the menu is still showing on mobile. Any suggestions?

In reply to: [NSFW] [Astra] What menu is this?So this is what I get when I attempt to add that to my Code Snippets plugin. Any idea what the issue is?
Don't Panic The code snippet you are trying to save produced a fatal error on line 1: syntax error, unexpected token ":", expecting ")" The previous version of the snippet is unchanged, and the rest of this site should be functioning normally as before. Please use the back button in your browser to return to the previous page and try to fix the code error. If you prefer, you can close this page and discard the changes you just made. No changes will be made to this site.

In reply to: Customer versus subscriber roleSo if two people came to my website, why would one be assigned the Subscriber role and the other the Customer role?
Also of note Woocommerce 6.9.4 just auto-installed itself so maybe that also had something to do with the fix. There was no new version available when this error first appeared.
OK I came back today to try to do what you asked with the clearing of the cache but when I logged in the error was gone for the first time in over a week. I deactivated the code snippet plugin and it stays gone so I’m not sure what was the fix (Or even what the actual problem was causing the error. Switching out the theme and back again may have caused the regeneration to activate and it did so correctly this time? I’m not sure really.
I have now deactivated all plugins except for Woocommerce and switched the theme over to Storefront. I added a new image to one of the products in my store. I still have the same error. Please advise.
I have disabled that plugin and the error is still there. What do you suggest?
OK I added that code into the code snippets plugin and activated it. I still have this message
“Thumbnail regeneration is running in the background. Depending on the amount of images in your store this may take a while.”
and I still do not know if it is actually running in the background or not. I cannot tell if it is.
Right now I am no better off with an answer.
Where do I add this code to WordPress?

In reply to: [NSFW] Removing cells from table in WordPressIf you look at my screenshot I don’t seem to have that button you are pointing out.
Attached are two screenshots. One shows my pending jobs and the other shows failed jobs. Is one of these the current regeneration that the notification is mentioning? Does that mean it is working? how do I fix this so the notification goes away and stays away?
Astro Pro confirmed the issue and says they will try to come with a fix at some point and that it could affect any theme with infinite scroll. Advised me to turn off Lazy Load for now.
“`We just tested the same, and it seems like the issue is coming from lazy load and infinite scroll.
I have listed this within our improvement. But which ever theme has this infinite scroll feature would face the same. This shouldn’t be limited only to Astra.
Either you can disable that lazy load feature, or you can switch to the pagination option
Let me know if that work for the time we find any workaround for this issue.”
I disabled all plugins except for Jetpack and Woocommerce and still kept the Astra Pro theme turned on. The problem still occurs when Jetpack’s lazy loading is on.
With Jetpack’s lazy loading turned off it does work.
I then tried the 2022 theme and it appears to be working with lazy loading on as well as off.
I will leave a message with Astra Pro theme tech support and see if they can shed some light on it.
I’ve tried deactivating everything else except for Jetpack boost and still cannot get my images back. If I disable Jetpack boost the images reappear.
