Yes you were both right it was the plug-ins ,disabled them all and the visual button worked , now i jest to to switch them on one by one to find the trouble maker , thanks again for your help

Hi thanks for your help , I tried toggling the visual/ text , buttons but it seems to be stuck on text, because when i highlight the blank space i can see html code. I seem to have the same problem in other browsers so i guess it’s a problem with my install .

Any other suggestions ?

I have now changed it so it maps the old website https://www.mysite.com/reviews/
and i still get a white page.I have moved all the data from my old website into the same named folder.

I assume the database is connecting because there is no username or password error.

I was wondering does the database from my old website have a user name and password inside of it or does it take on the username and password of the database it is being absorbed into?

Yeah i just realized on my old server wordpress was located at https://www.mysite.com/review/

on the new server I have worpress in the top directory https://www.mysite.com
is this going to cause a problem too.
