I’m having this exact issue but I did nothing to make it happen. No updates or plug-ins or anything. I can’t access anything. It’s completely white screen although anyone going to my blog would see nothing abnormal. So frustrating.

It all of a sudden magically appeared. No rhyme or reason after not working for 4 hours! Frustrating.

I spoke too soon! So using the zip file to add the theme worked well. But I think I must not have created the style.css right beacuse the pasge is all out of wack when I active the child. here is what I used

now to change my content and side bar widths…. I want less margin on the sides of the page and to make both my content and rt sidebar wider. Any help for that now that I can mess with it in the child theme?!

this works well. but what if I want something a little “jazzier” than just a box. like maybe rounded edges, how would I do that. Also the text that says “posted by at time” (I am sure it has a name, I just dont know what) is causing a break in my “box”. how do I fix that. I have been wanting to do the same thing. I tried what you ahve listed but it is not working at all for me. do I need to put in the css from both your posts. Also, I want to remove the rss icon from my header. Any ideas on that one?
