Thanks for your response @sacredpath. It’s beyond my expertise. I have been deleting plugins that I thought may have been causing the issue. It’s an active business website so I am worried about changing too many things.

I have got CSS under the customizer but I havent changed any files directly and am not using a child theme.

Sorry forgot to add that the issue is that a download box comes up when you go to the front page only. If i use a link like website.com/example this works fine

@kharisblank thankyou, I tried to use this plug in but it does not seem to show up any images when I add it to the pages. nothing changes

@awanrmb that is the look I’m looking for but with only one image ( different for each page). Could you please recommend a plug in that would do this?

@anouk197 you need to upload the image using the Media tab on the left hand side of your wordpress dashboard. Once is it uploaded if you click on the image it will show its details, measurements and URL address. This will be the address you use ??

Actually I just had a look and it worked perfectly on the main page but on al other pages it shows as a solid colour until it starts scrolling then it’s the image I’m wanting.

It does fix this issue but now the header is Purple (when not scrolling down) and not translucent, would you know how I could change this?

Opps sorry I didn’t respond! It turned out that the directions were working but only if I used the iPhone directly (once I made the website live). it wouldn’t show when I changed the customiser view to tablet or phone.

Thankyou so much the color change worked perfectly!

I ended up using siteorigin to make the background extend accross the screen

The website is still in maintenance mode.

Here is a screenshot of the website. Id love to have search function in the header ( there is also a top bar right at the top that would be even better to have that function in). This one also shows whats happening to the featured image at the back

I took the plunge and now it wont let me access /wp-admin as it says there are too many redirects.

any ideas? desperate to finish this website ??
