    Update: I resolved this. My wordpress template is quirky about the use of the “More Tag” when it comes right before a block quote. If the More Tag gets “into” the block quote – it’s like it causes a hard return on the entire page 1 homepage – pushing all of the sidebars to the bottom, below the main content area. To fix: Remove the More Tag. Check site to see if sidebars load correctly. If so, you can try to put it back in BEFORE the last piece of punctuation before the block quote starts. Keep the old punctuation, though. Add the more tag. Then put a period before it. Then take out the period after. That seems to have fixed it for me – although on one post, I still cannot get it to work so I just took the More Tag out forever.

    I am not a super pro or anything – but I saw this happening too – but initially, only, after the post went live. It seemed that over time, though, Google did index the entire permalink structure.

    Again – to be clear – I “think” it was happening only initially – but then corrected over time.
