In reply to: Alignment problemsHello @aaronrobertshaw
Thank you very much for taking the time to help out. You were dead right. You’ve solved the problem for me and helped me along on my learning journey. Thank you very much.
My next task is to learn more about groups!
Thanks again

In reply to: Alignment problems@empsaviour – thanks for your response. This is much appreciated. I’ve tried all the alignment options you mention.
Is it really the case that I have to master custom CSS (which I have no skills in) to simply align all blocks to the left and keep them there when I widen the browser window?

In reply to: Force block to start on a new lineThank you Justin. It’s fixed. Your diagnosis was spot on and I wouldn’t have worked this out for myself.
The options were in a different place for me. For the record (and so I don’t forget!), this was the path for me:
- Login to wp-admin
- Go to website homepage > Edit Site > Click on Header block > Click on Menu block
- In block options box select Align > None
Thanks again

In reply to: Force block to start on a new lineThanks for your response. Much appreciated. I can’t seem to be able to get to the screenshot you shared ie the one with the alignment option at the top. Would you mind guiding me there eg: Dashboard > Appearance > Editor > Etc > Etc
A quick follow-up question.
Can you use this technique between the <head> </head> tags in the header.php file?
Background: I have two MailChimp mailing lists (one French and one English) and these require different code to be inserted between the <head> tags to display a pop-up ‘Subscribe to our mailing list’ form.
Thanks
Simon
Thanks for this.
Could you possibly post the precise text of this change and confirm where it goes (I’m assuming it will be wp-config.php) as I am NOT an expert!
Thanks in anticipation.

In reply to: Post links have stopped workingThanks for the help.
I followed the advice on the link you sent and it turns out that the Contextly plug-in that was causing the problem.
I hope they can fix the problem because I really like Contextly!
