In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Quic.cloud IPv6 problemIt should! Litespeed does…
Seriously, I suggest that should be a priority. Not everyone wants to have their stuff hosted. Most broadband services support IPV6 and with IPv6 any or all computers inside a broadband network can be on a DMZ and have a AAAA record in the DNS settings.I have a Mac Mini with 64GB and I setup several Ubuntu VMs running OpenLiteSpeed using IPv6. I was already using the IPv4 thru the DMZ on the Mac itself running Mamp Pro with Apache. And that’s where I succeeded in getting a key whereas the OLS servers failed.
So now I will have to rethink my setup. Boo!
Thanks for letting me know.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Sign up problem with multiple separate sites by pathThanks. Yes it is the same domain key for both sites.
Now that you see I know my way around, my next question on a new thread is going to be groundbreaking LOL
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Sign up problem with multiple separate sites by pathThe domain key is hidden, but there can only be one per domain. If you tell me where to look in the DB I can check there.
Anyway, both sites are caching successfully. My guess is that you have to request the domain key for each site, but it sends the same key to both sites (after both sites have made the request).
I haven’t done the CDN yet because I have to locate our certificate from another server so i don’t know if that works.
I have another question – I will post a new thread.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Sign up problem with multiple separate sites by pathBut it’s not a domain issue. It’s another site on the path.
- site.com
- site.com/nl
Like I said, I understand that the cache will be stored in the same place on a litespeed server, but what about individual settings per site? I can only have one domain key for the 2 sites.
So should I copy paste? And will the settings be controlled in each site’s Litespeed plugin page, not the domain config page on quic.cloud?
Cheers

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Connection refused (Redis issue)Not even to read it?
Ask your host.
If it is set to daemonize NO you might be able to override without root access via the CLI and Redis will work until there is a reboot.
redis-server --daemonize yes

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Connection refused (Redis issue)Please see #1 of my post above. Check this file if you can.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Connection refused (Redis issue)Hi, I just had the same problem and between the host EAPPS using Jelaastic and me, it was solved, but actually in this case I think it was a Jelastic problem (neither Litespeed or host) which made it more complicated and the fix won’t apply to others.
Sorry for long intro – here is the problem:
- The file
/etc/systemd/system/redis.service.d/override.conf
was set to –daemonize no which overrode the/etc/redis.conf
file and was inaccessible to the user - And in the
redis.conf
file the port was not set to 6379
So in effect there was no way to get it to work as the plugin config wanted it to work out of the box. Also it would help if the plugin defaulted to 127.0.0.1 since that’s what the
redis.conf
file wants.Cheers
MikePS the installation for the litespeed server came from here: Jelastic Litespeed Github Installer

In reply to: [Qubely - Advanced Gutenberg Blocks] Conflict with Gutenberg 6.3To be clear, i was not questioning the rules.

In reply to: [Qubely - Advanced Gutenberg Blocks] Conflict with Gutenberg 6.3Mr Murshed was very helpful in solving this conflict with Gutenberg and his plugin is on the cutting edge of WordPress development.
Perhaps, Jan, a slightly less than “Brute Squad” approach would also generate your desired result.
There are so many Block plugins, it is hard for users to distinguish the good from the bad. And recognising the good from the bad should be the objective.

Just tried it with v6.4 and it also fails. When clicking on either
Copy Post text
orCopy Error
I get the text I pasted above. But like I said without the Gutenberg plugin activated there isn’t a problem, although I don’t have problems with any other Gutenberg Block plugins similar to yours, the Gutenberg plugin and your plugin deactivated. (I just retested this)

In reply to: [Qubely - Advanced Gutenberg Blocks] Conflict with Gutenberg 6.3Hi Fahim
Thanks for getting back to me.
Just to clarify, the problem ONLY occurs with the Gutenberg plugin which I like to use because it has all the latest features.
I will post a screen dump ASAP.When the Gutenberg plugin is NOT installed there is NO problem.

In reply to: [Connect Matomo (WP-Matomo, WP-Piwik)] Example for Piwik Custom VariablesHi
Thanks for getting back to me.I read the documents. They are not so clear.
This is why I want a simple example of what would go in the name and value boxes.
Samples are much better than reading documentation that doesn’t use the box but instead uses code.
Without a sample of what goes in the boxes, you’ve built a feature no one can use.
Cheers
