This issue goes away for me if I empty the LiteSpeed cache at cPanel level. So somehow the plugin is not doing it correctly from within WordPress (when clicking Purge All).

I only started experiencing this issue after updating to version 4.3.

I think you misunderstood. I already added the IP for my server.

However, to retrieve new reviews, do I need to add IP(s) for Google itself?

Same issue with the next client who is also a SAB (Service Area Business).

Found this online which gives me the place ID without having to search which is awesome! https://www.launch2success.com/guide/find-any-google-id/

Basically, search the business in google, then in the business profile box at the right, right click the “Write a review” button, inspect element, then look for the data-pid=”XXXX” value – voila! That is your place ID. Location doesn’t seem to be needed for the plugin to retrieve the reviews.

The place finder worked perfectly on that page and then I went and tried the plugin and it was also good.

I had waited 2 days which was the only difference. Strange, but working. I have 2 more sites to do this week and will see if any similar issues.

@ryanhungate Ok, but what if your site is single language and doesn’t have WPML?

I tried the above .po method per the wiki, but the file name is called mc-woocommerce.pot not mailchimp-woocommerce.pot. Also it doesn’t contain any line for “subscribe to our newsletter”. I added on in manually but it still doesn’t work. Please advise.

Ok, I understand the need to offer a minimum amount option in the pro version, but the free version should not accept zero. I’ve had three orders this week go through the site all with zero amount. The site is for a children’s charity in Indonesia which accepts online donations. It’s a pro-bono project for me so I don’t charge them anything and keep any costs to a minimum as much as possible.

This works.

I downgraded the plugin to version 5.05 and everything works perfectly again. As far as I am aware, there are no security updates since then?

I’m in the middle of setting up a staging site so I can test with the latest version to try to find where the conflict is.

I consulted with some experts on the security side of WordPress and they allayed my fears about publishing this list. I guess I’m just naturally cautious.

I’m just worried that it’s a security risk to publicly publish the plugins I run. My site gets a lot of attacks on a daily basis. Can you advise on whether it’s okay to post them here or not?
