In reply to: How to promote free plugin?Thank You for reply @jdembowski.
Why did you release a plugin here? I mean, what was your motivation?
My motivation is to get users of our open source software, not to making it for no one.
Your plugin is a “Custom CSS Injector” and while I’ve not installed it (yet) the stock WordPress installation comes with a CSS editor built in. And there are many custom CSS plugins out there.
We want to introduce more “unique” plugin soon, but Im not sure it will change anything. User will search “OUR UNIQUE PHRASE” and see (but propably not) our plugin with functionalities which are looking on 2 number digit page.
Please check this:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/svg-support/ (“custom css” phrase – second page of results)
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ns-custom-css/ (same phrase – page 21, no ratings, no active installs, shorter description, less keywords in description)
Our plugin: page 42 (yesterday plugin was called CSS Injector and was placed on 92 page and was changed for this reason to Custom CSS Injector). The ones with more download hits pop up first.
Plugin with most number of downloads is on second page of search results.
I do not want to be misunderstood but many of most popular plugins was promoted by their developers in commercial way (paid articles etc.) and want to just understand how can optimize my plugin description to get user which will be really interested my plugin without external interventions.
I dont believe user prefer less optimized, ads-full plugin (placed higher in search results) than ours (>> Im not talking about plugins mentioned above! <<), He just dont know about existence of our plugin.

In reply to: Some pages no longer loading after updateHello,
We have found fatal error on Your website which is propably reason of this issue.
Fatal error: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the script in /[SECURE]/[SECURE]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/maxbuttons/blocks/advanced.php on line 2
Check advanced.php file, propably this file have extra content before namespace declaration which is not allowed and results in fatal error.
If You can, please paste content of this file or (if You dont want making it public) feel free to send it to us (support|at|77solutions.eu).

In reply to: Admin alert when there are no visitors?Hello,
“I’ve been trying to do some troubleshooting on a site that always has so many visitors I can’t find a good time to work on the site.”
If this is only reason to get notification about low number of visitors, good idea will be test/dev/local server.
Working on live site which have high number of online visitors is bad idea.Regards,

In reply to: Internal Sever Error – Admins onlyWe cant help You without logs.
Internal Server Errors can be shown in many cases.
You hosting provider propably only increases server parameters, You pay more but main reason is still not resolved.
Try to get server logs by logging into server via SSH.
If You problem will be not resolved soon, feel free to send Your logs to us via email (support|at|77solutions.eu – please paste link to this thread in email content).Regards,

In reply to: Internal Sever Error – Admins onlyThats good. You just need to trigger Internal Server Error and check PHP error logs for get latest error reason. If PHP is not a problem, then check Apache logs.
Tell me, Your website is hosted on single or multiple servers?

In reply to: Domain Mapping?Hello,
You can map any domain You own to any hosting by configuring domain DNS record (“A” Record).
Value of A record must direct to target IP/Host of server which hosts Your website.- This reply was modified 7 years, 3 months ago by 77 Solutions.
