I am also having this problem. It must be something introduced in the latest round of updates.

Pages with the comments disabled are now receiving comments. Legitimate comments, they are not spam comments.

Just updated some plugins and it’s fixed the issue. So must of been a plugin conflict.

Think your 1 star is a little harsh. Like mentioned above, its your hosting that is preventing you from installing as you usually would. Just because the install folder is large in size doesn’t mean its a bloaty plugin.

I love this plugin.

@jenniferwinton that is very strange. Maybe it’s a different issue from what I was having. Have you cleared your cache(ctrl + f5)? I know I forget the simple stuff sometimes.

Same here. The update broke something. If you use the “Contact Form 7 Controls” plugin and disable AJAX submissions then it works.

So its deffo related to AJAX and the Update as a rollback works.

BUT that is not a solution!

I too have issues with users pressing submit button multiple times. The form isn’t slow, has 3 image upload fields so takes a second or two to load.

Drives me mad when I see inbox with up to 8 duplicates where the user is imagined he’s playing Counter Strike!

Yes, I noticed this too. Commas split my text into the next field.

@westerndeal this is amazing. Is there anything I could use as of now? I really could do with this feature or a work around just for now.
