This problem has now gone away and solved itself but I think I know the reason.

The problem started early in March when Amazon started to transition from Product API v4 to v5 – On the 31st March they switched off v4, and since then speed has all been good so I think the problem may have been caused by the Amazon API change.

Thank you very much for your speedy response – using the information you provided I was able to identify the next element of the CSS and alter this to make the line slightly longer which was my friends preferred option.

I have now checked with Firefox on Linux Mint and that also works OK, so I can only assume it’s an IE10 or earlier problem.

I do not know if this problem is new or not as I only installed this theme yesterday.

I think for the temporary measure I will re-size my featured images to be the correct size.

I have tried a Windows 7 machine with IE 10 and this also exhibits the same problem, while a Windows 8.1 machine with IE11 is fine, so I think maybe it is a problem for machines only with IE10?

Also, everything is fine using my Android phone with various browsers, I will check Linux tomorrow.

Thanks for the speedy reply Meiji, unfortunately there is no change.

I am wondering if this is caused because I have made the content and sidebar a little wider using the themes options (750px & 274px respectively) and it appears that the theme still thinks the Header is the original width?

I am very new to WordPress and am learning this by experimenting!
