In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Issues with new updateHi Jay,
To edit the FAQs we just selected the blue ‘Edit with Elementor’ button at the top of the screen (https://imgur.com/YlkzhBb) and then it opens the normal Elementor editor (https://imgur.com/GGdLtQi).
We use this method to make all of the pages, posts etc on our website.
I have just updated to the latest version of the plugin and added FAQs shortcode to a new page and the issue is still the same. I’ve also made a new FAQ and edited it with Elementor but the changes made in Elementor didn’t seem to have any effect on the FAQ. It is still possible to edit the FAQs with Elementor but the changes to seem to have any impact on the way the FAQ looks.
Cheers

In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Issues with new updateHi Jay,
Thanks for replying so quickly. We updated from 1.9.11 to 2.0.3.
If you’re asking whether we have added custom CSS in FAQs -> Options -> General -> Custom CSS (on this screen https://imgur.com/ztKEuKm) we haven’t.
This is just the formatting of each FAQ and the FAQ menu screen and we’ve used Elementor to do this. Everything was okay before the update but afterwards all of the formatting we set using Elementor has been deleted.
If it helps you can see the differences in the screen shots from the old version to the new versions below:

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Remove Select Country / RegionHi Con,
Thanks for replying to my message.
We are wanting to remove the top option highlighted (https://imgur.com/pwLhzyp) but without removing the countries in the dropdown list.
The reason we want to do this is because, when a customer first comes to our website the country is set to our store location which is the UK. When they get to the checkout they can then change this if they need to. Our prices / tax settings change depending on where the customer is.
So for example if a customer orders this product in the UK it costs £50 including tax and delivery (https://imgur.com/A1gdU6S) and this is the same as what is shown on the cart page (https://imgur.com/KdB2KDX) but if they change their country to the US the checkout page changes to remove the tax and include the delivery charge (https://imgur.com/CZK3lVL) however when the country is changed the prices in our store and on the cart page are no longer the same. As you can see here, after the country was changed the USA the deliver charge isn’t shown on the cart page and the price has been reduced from £50 to £41.67 due to the tax being removed (https://imgur.com/oom9le0)
When we investigated, it seemed that this was being cause by the website not registering the new country (USA) and setting the prices as though there isn’t a billing country at all.
Hopefully I’ve explained this a bit better.
Many thanks
Rob

In reply to: [Price Based on Country for WooCommerce] Tax still showing when it shouldn’tHi Oscar,
Thanks for getting back to me, we have resolved this issue but we now have another problem.
When a customer changes the country from the dropdown list at the checkout the new country doesn’t seem to register on the website so all the prices in the store and shopping cart change and have the tax removed. Is there a way for the prices to stay the same even if no country has been selected?

In reply to: [Booster for WooCommerce] Lack of SupportHi,
We have also sent in support tickets nearly two weeks ago and have posted a comment but we still haven’t received any response.
Are you going to respond?
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply.
I have managed to work out that it was the CDN that was causing the issue. I looked back through the reports and found the scans stopped on the day we started using the CDN. I paused the CDN and the scans worked again. I’ve since restarted the CDN and the scans are still working so everything seems to be okay now.
Thank you for trying to help though.
Rob
Hi Rene,
Thank you for the information. You were correct, the reason that the email wasn’t being sent from the cloned site was because of the permalink settings on the clone site.
We changed those settings and now the email is being sent by the cloned site too.
We have managed to find out what was generating the email though so the issue has been sorted out.
Thank you very much for you help, have a great day.
Robert
Hi Rene,
Thank you for replying so quickly.
The email is an automatic email that a customer receives then they download something from our website but before they can get the download they have to fill in the contact 7 form. On the staging site I deactivated the Contact 7 plugin then deleted it. I then installed it again and created the contact forms again and this time it didn’t send the automatic email.
I then duplicated this exactly on the live site and the email is still being sent. I have just tested it again and it is still okay, yet on the live site the email is still being sent.
I was wondering if there is something that is not cloned in your plugin which could explain this.
Thanks,
Rob
