Glad that all worked out!
Best,

Thanks for letting us know! I just pushed a fix (version 2.4.3). Can you confirm it works for you?
Thanks,

In reply to: AddThis (for sharing blog entries)Actually, it should still work for all WordPress blogs, self-hosted or otherwise. Did you log in at the admin panel? It should redirect to the quickpost form.
If not, let me know the version you’re running–and the URL of the page you tried to share. I double-checked with my own 3.0.3 installation and it worked like a champ.
Best,
MattThe template tag supports custom URLs and titles:
<?php do_action( ‘addthis_widget’, $url, $title); ?>Does that solve your problem?

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] [Plugin: AddThis] Dashboard ErrorSandra,
Have you tried resetting your password on the AddThis site, and then re-entering it on your blog? It’s possible that it’s just a simple mismatch.
Best,
MattYeah — we think we have a fix in the development version, but various blogs work differently. It’d be great to confirm in your case that replacing the plugin with the dev version resolves the issue!

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] [Plugin: AddThis] Dashboard ErrorSandra,
Can you post a link to your site? We can try confirming the same problem. Also, in version 1.6.8 the error screen actually posts an explanatory message in addition to the generic error.
Best,
MattThanks for the report. This is fixed in version 1.6.8–please confirm it works for you!
Best,
MattAndreas,
Hmm. Can you tell me if the same problem occurs in the development version?

In reply to: addthis plugin and rss feedsWe could try to add this in a future version. Any particular feedreaders you’d want to make sure we supported?

In reply to: [Plugin: AddThis] Some plugin feedbackGreps,
Thanks for the feedback, and sorry I didn’t see your message sooner. What version of the plugin are you using? And what options are specifically failing?
Button preview is a great idea, which we’ll add in the next version.
The default behavior is to add the button at the end of a post. Template tags are just for advanced users. What led you to believe that was your only option?
Best,
MattI don’t see a border there — which browser are you having the problem in?

In reply to: Ntpiracy.com is really happy to use “addthis” pluginAh. I think for now you’d have to edit the plugin manually, to change line 319 (the only place “get_permalink()” is referenced) to use “permalink_to_twitter_link(get_permalink())” instead.
Make sense? Let me know how it goes!

In reply to: [Plugin: AddThis] Bug: Encoding of spaces, special characters in titleBoth issues are resolved in our development branch:
https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/addthis.zipThe bug is fixed, and the template tag supports url/title overrides (see https://www.addthis.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=24428 for details).
