In reply to: [Hueman] Changing color of menu indicator for mobile to greyHi there Bojan,
Hope you’re fine today, too!
Great job, many thanks. Added the code to the style.css and now it’s up and running.
The search icon isn’t part of the mobile themes’ top bar, it seems, sorry for the confusion.
Best Regards
Tom@ Cais – Thanks for your reply.
No, I didn’t change any of he settings you mentioned, but to make sure, all is fine with this aspect, I did reset them. The situation remains the same.
Btw., I use Hueman with a child theme.
Is there an option that the server might influence delivery?
Thanks and regards
Tom@ Cais – Yep, I tried, it worked.
It also works with the regularly used theme Hueman sometimes – like this evening for a few moments, but I was logged in with Safari, using Chrome parallel to this.
Today, I put in the short code into the page again, I also deleted all images and reloaded them. Didn’t help, unfortunately.
What irritates me is, that it always works with the default theme Hueman, when I’m logged in, but if I’m not, it doesn’t – with the same Mac, browser and network connection.

In reply to: [Hueman] How do I make page faster?Hi!
You’re using lots of pictures, that might sum up to quite some MB. On my site https://www.cafm-news.de I work on the pics a little, before I upload them to WP.
Generally I save them for web use, with 72 dpi and without resources.
Also useful is to resize them to the minimum required size instead of using the original pic. E.g. if a SLR gives you 3888?×?2592 px, but you only need 900 x 600 px, that saves a lot of bytes, too.
Another tip is to use jpg with reduced quality (75 percent is fine with many pics, just try!)
Some pics with just a few plain colors like logos get smaller sizes with GIF or PNG format. Also worth a try.
Hope this helps a little to speed up your page.
Happy coding!
Tom
