You can close this ticket, I just figured it out. I had to change the status of the order to “on hold” then it allowed me to change that field.

I was just having the same problem, after pulling my hair for a while I figured out a work around. uninstall the plugin, install the older version 0.8, define the links to all your slides then upgrade to 0.9.6.1, then all your setting in the post will stick.

Make a note of the custom fields it ads, you may be able to just update those in the future if you want to change your images or links.
