Thanks for the reply! What I meant was if Optimole could deliver non-image content in addition to the images. Images would of course be the primary reason why I’d use Optimole in the first place ?? So is non-image content also possible with Optimole? Just so I understand correctly.
Thanks,

In reply to: [RSS Feed Retriever] Clickable images?Quick tip for those who want clickable images (and who don’t?), and if you’re comfortable doing some light code editing:
1. Edit wp-rss-retriever.php (this applies to version 1.3.1)
2. Make a new/blank line after line 114
3. Move line 98 – ie the string that says:
$output .= ‘‘;
to the new line you just created after line 114.
You’ve now encapsulated both title and image in the post URL. Try it at your own risk, of course – but worked without problems here.
Sorry I forgot to reply to this – thanks a lot for addressing the issue, it’s been a big help in speeding up the backend!
1. Retract this plugin
2. Fix the broken unsubscribes for all your 30.000+ plugin users. You’re doing real damage to their business, you’re fully aware of it, and you’ve failed to do anything to resolve it for 11+ months, and you even keep offering it, which is nothing short of a scandal.
3. @mcsupport your case-by-case suggestion is frankly offensive. As the person to reply to my original post 11 months back (“leaving the “Subscribe to list” checkbox unchecked will not affect that person’s subscription to the list in any way”), you’ve had a key role in this, and you’ve catastrophically failed to resolve anything. Please step up and resolve this, by getting this plugin retracted, and restoring your customer’s lost subscribers.
Again, a brief timeline:
A. You’ve offered this plugin for at LEAST 11 months with a critical flaw without resolving it
B. Time after time, you’ve been made aware of how critical this issue is for your customers
C. You’ve shown a shocking disregard for the data your customers and users have entrusted you, even after being made aware of the severity
D. You’ve never done anything proactively to bring back the lost subscribers
E. You’ve completely failed your responsibility in properly investigating and resolving this issue yourself, instead asking for case-by-case reports from users (users who are unaware that their subscriber base is slowly eroding)
F. You’ve not told any of your 30.000+ users that they have likely been affected by this ongoing flaw
G. amazingly, you’re STILL offering this plugin with the same critical flaw.
Retract this plugin, and fix the issue for your users.

Hey Jamie, sorry for hijacking this thread – but Paypal instant payments (or Chained Payments, in my case) as vital for a lot of your current users (it’s only depreciated for new signups), so please don’t remove it.
Also, how about https://www.braintreepayments.com/en-dk/products/braintree-marketplace – there’s a real need for a current marketplace system that allows instant payments and plugs into the omnipresent Paypal system. Fingers crossed you can get something like that working?
Thanks,
– AsbjoernHoly…. this is shocking. Please retract this plugin immediately! You’ve been made aware of this issue numerous times, and for you to not resolve this – but simply to keep jeopardizing (and actually damaging) your customer’s most valuable data – is reckless beyond belief. Again, please retract this plugin, and then contact the 30.000+ customers who are using this without knowing their most valuable subscribers have likely been lost, and resolve it.
And no, just abandoning support in here on Jan 1st doesn’t constitute a solution – you broke things, so now you definitely need to fix them.
Ok, fingers crossed they’ll be making it easier to apply for Paypal for Marketplaces down the road. Is it complex to integrate into WC?
And oh, please retain adaptive payments too, for those of us who are already approved and running (as I understand it, it’ll keep working just fine for existing users).
Thanks,
– AsbjoernHey Jamie and Anna, thanks for addressing the Paypal situation! Jamie, I’m sure you’ve looked into this already, but Paypal is offering Paypal for Marketplaces: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/marketplaces/pp4mp/ – seems like a new(er) thing? Maybe this could be used in place of Adaptive Payments?
Hi Anna, sounds very interesting – can you share any details on what’s in the works? Will it still be connected with PayPal somehow, or is it a different solution altogether? Also, do you have an ETA on this?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Bug Alert: Subscribers become Non-Subscribers@mcsupport: Whether the original issue was resolved at all (and it doesn’t sound like it): If it’s still happening – for whatever reason -, you really, really need to fix it once and for all.
This isn’t some trivial bug: For your plugin, randomly throwing away your customer’s subscribers is as bad as it gets – and it’s likely affected a huge number of your customers.
You really need to *proactively* investigate why this is happening, and your case-by-case approach clearly hasn’t worked if it’s still happening 6+ months down the road.
You’re sitting on a huge amount of data that’ll help you resolve this. Log all unsubscribes for users of this plugin and figure out why this happens, then fix it once and for all.
Anything else is just plain reckless, and continuing to offer a plugin with such a grave – known – defect is downright deplorable.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Bug Alert: Subscribers become Non-Subscribers@gindavall, that’s outrageous! @mcsupport, more than 6 months down the line, you’re _still_ knowingly offering a flawed product that jeopardizes your users’ most valuable subscribers. What are you thinking?
Here’s how to fix it:
1. Pull this plugin
2. Resolve the issue once and for all
3. Re-offer the pluginAnything else is totally reckless and a complete and shameful disregard for your customers and their data.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Bug Alert: Subscribers become Non-SubscribersOh no, is this still an issue? It was brought up about 6 months ago and begrudgingly acknowledged after multiple reports (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/do-you-unsubscribe-current-subscribers-who-dont-opt-in-on-checkout-2/), so I would’ve expected this to have been completely resolved by now.
This plugin shouldn’t unsubscribe a store’s best mailing list subscribers (people who buy stuff from the store!) under _any_ circumstances – and if it is, this plugin should be pulled and not released again until it’s been completely and utterly resolved once and for all.
Same here, only 10 orders at a time – the issue persists with the new version, unfortunately.
Makes sense – thanks a lot for looking into it, looking forward to getting it working again!
Thanks for a great tool! However, it still only deletes 10 items at a time, nearly two months after it was reported – any progress on this ahead?
