It is funny though that the Google Console is saying it is a robots.txt issue (?). I even renamed the robots.txt file the day I created this post.

I contacted my hosting provider, InMotion, and they stated since the end of the error said “Warning: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=4175194 in /home/ACCOUNTHERE/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1924” that I needed to optimize the database to fix that query and it should fix the issue.

I backed up everything and I installed the plugin they suggested, WP Optimize, and while it removed the WARNING at the end, the error is still there:

Should I be able to ping api.constantcontact.com? I can ping api.twitter.com and get replies, but api.constantcontact.com times out for me, regardless of what computer and network I’m on.

I’m using InMotion Hosting. Many people use shared hosting environments such as InMotion, HostGator, etc. for their WordPress websites. And the answer with them, I’m pretty confident (from experience), is going to be the same.

Can you recommend a SHARED HOSTING provider that will do these sorts of fixes?

I did share that article with my host provider, and like the person in the other thread, the hosting company said since I am on a shared hosting account that the changes the article suggests can not be made.

So I’m wondering what WordPress users on shared hosting accounts are supposed to do to fix the error?

I came back to ad that I set up a completely new WP install on a test domain, that has a standard WP theme with no other plugins but RSVPmaker, and exported the RSVP posts from the live site and imported them into the test site and I’m still having the same issue.

I’m trying to find documentation regarding the possible way posts can be sorted? I assume the default is chronological order (by the date the post was created).

I’m trying to do the same thing as Collin. Use the shortcode to pull in two status terms, for example “new” and “reduced”.

I tried using a comma and just a space, and neither method work:

I did do the test file, we’ve got php v 5.4.45, and did not find Suhosin.

When I add php_value max_input_vars 3000 to the .htaccess file in the root it gives an error:

ERROR 500 – INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

This plugin, with these two forms, was working fine previously as I was able to create the forms to begin with and have everything working as expected.

No, I do not have ‘theme my login’ installed.

I think that is why I was thrown off buy why it wasn’t working (the fact that the generic Gmail address worked). Typically I’ve had problems with WordPress (non woo related) and the ‘not receiving emails’ from the server when Google Apps for domains is being used because it tries to send it locally.

When Gmail worked I wasn’t sure if AOL was on some kind of hinky voo-doo black list. ?? Then I tried Yahoo after I created this post.

I don’t know. That is why I’m here asking. All I know is if we use either a Yahoo or AOL account in the Woo settings neither the site manager OR the buyer are receiving emails.

If we use a domain based email address (and not even the domain name of the website) or even a flat out @gmail.com address both the ‘site manager’ and the buyer get emails.

Not using any sort of plugin for sending emails.

Ok, so I disabled the wp-members plugin by renaming the folder. Then I was able to login. I posted this on the wp-members forum to see what can be fixed.
