Hi Guys,
I don’t know if this helps any of you guys but I had a similar situation and found out that you need to create the attributes in the attributes section of the app in woocommerce and then go into your product page and delete the attributes and variations you may have already create in the product page. Then You can auto create the variations again from selecting the new attributes you created for your swatches from the dropdown.
