I ran into the same problem, there are pricing plugins that make it easier to modify prices.

If you want it to be a nice clean single product you HAVE to create thousands of variations, you can assign each variation a price afterwards. But that isn’t reasonable to do by hand.

4 colours x 3 sizes x 10 decals x 2 styles = 240 variations for 1 simple product.

It’s got a steep price, but if you do a lot of work with woocommerce / wordpress https://www.wpallimport.com/ is worth a look. ( unlimited installs once purchased. )

It lets me use an excel sheet to easily calculate individual prices for each variation of thousands, then import it, and any price changes as they happen.

e.g.

Total price = Size + Colour + Decal

A1 = A2 + A3 + A4

Total Price = Small, Green, Glittering Snowflakes
A1 = $5 + 0 + $7

Size
Small = $5
Medium = $5
Extra Large = $7

Colours
All colours = $0 (for this product)

Decals
None= $0
Snowflakes = $1
Glittering Snowflakes = $3

Price of Glittering snowflakes went up?
Glittering Snowflakes = $5

Bam, by changing the price of 1 cell, all it’s variations are updated and ready to be uploaded.

There is some html / link after a field (i’ve tried removing it, nothing changed)

It has content above it on the page, the working one is just a form on a page.
I’ve tried removing the content above it. No change.

The working form also has every field the 404ing one has and more.
