A bit of additional feedback. I’ve been working with the host on this (Flywheel, they’re great) and it seems they have narrowed it down to a conflict with this plugin: https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wps-hide-login/

All sites where User Switching fails to work, have this plugin activated. Apparently there are no known conflicts between these plugins, at least on Flywheel’s records.

I just wanted to make you aware of this, so that it can possibly be resolved.

I’m also reporting it to the developers of that plugin (topic here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/conflict-with-user-switching-plugin/ )

Has there been any progress on this please? I have experienced it on two sites, on which User Switching has always previously worked fine.

@shanelives that’s interesting, I was using White Label Branding on my site too. Wonder if there is a conflict there?

Have you been able to get any support for the issue? I haven’t unfortunately.

Try clicking to not allow other plugins to send from a different address, see if that helps?

The answer you gave on this page held the solution for me, including specifcally this comment:

conflicting hard coded posts_per_page in the query and “Blog pages show at most” in the Reading settings were confusing it.

Ah thanks, that makes total sense in that case. I assumed the custom loop would only run on the page if the shortcode were in place.

I really appreciate how supportive you’ve been.

This is my second attempt at using Exchange as we usually use WooCommerce for client projects. Exchange seems more than sufficient for most jobs we do, but I’m afraid we’re probably looking at leaving it behind because the level of support (I’m not talking about your own plugin here) is not good, and when using this on client sites when a fast response is required, it’s just not sustainable.

I would gladly pay more for support to get it, if the support was helpful and fast.

If you could get this back to the iThemes team I’d really appreciate that.
